Tiger continues UK expansion
Tiger, the Danish homewares and accessories chain, is continuing its UK expansion with the opening of its 43rd UK store at the Putney Exchange shopping centre.
Due to launch on 12 March, the new store will incorporate Tiger’s trademark ‘maze’ layout and Scandi-style minimalism and will sell a range of homewares, stationery, toys, toiletries and accessories.
Philip Bier, managing director of Tiger London & South East, said: “This will be the 31st Tiger outlet in London and the South East. We have signed on five more sites in high profile areas, all due to open in the first half of the year, with plans for further openings later in the year.”
Anne Partridge, centre manager for The Putney Exchange Shopping Centre, added: “We are delighted to welcome Tiger to the recently redeveloped Putney Exchange Shopping Centre. Their innovative, stylish homeware will be a welcome addition to our diverse mix of small independent retailers and well-known high street brands.”
