Online fashion retailer Asos has announced that its founder and chief executive Nick Robertson has sold nearly 750,000 shares worth more than £20.2 million. Following the transaction, Robertson will hold an 8.39% stake in the company.
Tesco has withdrawn one of its own brand apple and blackcurrant squash drinks after customers complained of a “disgusting smell”. The supermarket said it had taken the Tesco No Added Sugar Double Concentrate Apple and Blackcurrant 750ml and 1.5-litre drinks off its shelves after a flavour additive called Dimethyl Disulphide was added “in error”. Tesco said the error posed no food safety risk.
Iceland has appointed media agency The7Stars as its new partner to handle media buying across all of its channels. The move means the food retailer has ended its longstanding media buying partnership with Mediacom North.
