Thorntons FD leaves business

Confectionery retailer starts search for replacement
Thorntons has announced that finance director Martin Allen has left the business.

The confectionery manufacturer, retailer and distributor said that a search has already begun for a replacement for Allen.
Thorntons said that current trading continues to be in line with itss expectations.
Chris Burnett, chairman, said: “The board would like to thank Martin for his contribution to the development of Thorntons and wish him well for the future.”
