THG appoints Amy Fisher as chief executive of beauty brands

THG, the parent company of Cult Beauty and Look Fantastic, has appointed Amy Fisher as chief executive of its beauty brands.

Fisher previously worked as chief executive of the Lola women’s reproductive care brand and prior to that was president of Wander Beauty.

Earlier in her career, she was chief marketing officer at the Stila cosmetics brand and also worked with Elizabeth Arden, Estee Lauder Companies and L’Oreal.

In her new position, Fisher will report to THG Beauty chief executive, Lucy Gorman.

In a post on LinkedIn, Fisher said: “I am excited to announce that I have joined THG as the CEO of Beauty Brands. I am thrilled to be joining such an amazing team and I am grateful for the opportunity to work on so many amazing brands.”

Last month, Look Fantastic opened its first ever concept store in Altrincham which stocks over 90 beauty brands, including a number of exclusives. Building on the success of its events and pop-ups, the space is designed to educate customers about brands and products through an “in-real-life” experience.

THG’s beauty portfolio also includes Dermstore, the US online retailer for professional skincare brands.
