The Works seeks sites for new stores
Value retailer The Works is seeking sites across the south east of England for new stores and relocations.
The retailer has hired property advisor GCW to find shops in prime high street or shopping centre locations and is looking for units with 1,500 to 2,000 square feet of ground floor space and 500 square feet of ancillary space.
Jeremy Smith, property director at The Works, said: “I look forward to working with GCW in these exciting times for our business. We have had great success opening stores in this part of the country and I am keen to further optimise our store locations in this key region as part of the ongoing management of our whole portfolio.”
The Works currently trades from over 530 stores nationwide and sells a range of books, art and craft materials, gifts, toys, games and stationery.
