The Furniture Ombudsman appoints head of communications and PR

The Furniture Ombudsman, the organisation which provides Alternative Dispute Resolution services for consumers and retailers in the furniture, home improvement and floor coverings sectors, has appointed Alexandra Dobocan as head of communications and PR.

Dobocan will oversee the organisation’s internal and external communication, engage with members, non-members and the press, and facilitate events and training.

Having spent her entire career in communications, Dobocan holds a BA (Hons) in Public Relations and a Master’s degree by research in online norms. She has joined the Ombudsman from an agency background.

Kevin Grix, chief executive of The Furniture Ombudsman, said: “Hiring Alexandra is a testimony to the great work we have been doing, that allowed us to grow significantly in the past few years. We are determined to invest in the best people to help ensure that we remain the leading provider of retail, furniture and home improvement related Alternative Dispute Resolution in the UK.”
