The Entertainer to open Macclesfield store
High street toy retailer The Entertainer is to open a new store in Macclesfield.
Spanning 3,608 square feet, the store in the town’s Grosvenor Centre will be the retailer’s ninth new shop of 2019.
The Entertainer will be holding a grand opening event on Saturday 30 November with a ribbon-cutting taking place at 8.45am with Councillor Janet Jackson, the town’s mayor. The first 20 families through the doors will receive a lucky dip gift card ranging from £5 to £10.
LEGO Batman will be making a special appearance at the store and children will be able to take part in a range of in-store events and competitions throughout the day.
Craig Lowe, events co-ordinator at The Entertainer, said: “We are really looking forward to The Entertainer’s grand opening event at Macclesfield. It’ll be great for the children to meet some of their favourite life-sized characters and to enjoy our exciting new store.”
