The Entertainer invests £1m in new flagship at Bullring

The Entertainer has officially reopened its shop in Birmingham’s  Bullring following an extensive refit to create a new regional flagship.

The toy retailer has invested £1 million in the 9,000 square foot shop which now features immersive spaces for brands such as LEGO, Barbie and Peppa Pig.

The Entertainer has also launched its first ever Early Learning Centre shop-in-shop at the store following its purchase of the business from Mothercare last year.

Gary Grant, founder and chief executive of The Entertainer said: “We are delighted that the doors to our newly refitted Bullring store are now open and that our customers can finally enjoy the store following the lockdown period.  We have worked with the Hammerson design team to create a toy store that will delight children and bring a new experience to the Bullring.”

Part of the work has included the installation of new flooring and lighting to create a brighter environment for visitors. All refurbishments works were led by an in-house team and implemented by external contractors.

Shopping centre operator Hammerson has also recently collaborated with The Entertainer on the provision of a monetary donation and supply of toys to Women’s Aid shelters in the Midlands.
