The Entertainer expands into Kazakhstan

Toy retailer The Entertainer has opened its first store in Kazakhstan.

Situated in Dostyk Plaza in Almaty, the shop has been launched in partnership with Zeta Retail which operates three other international retail brands.

The Entertainer’s founder and chairman, Gary Grant said: “Kazakhstan is an exciting new market for The Entertainer, allowing us to bring our unique style of toy retailing to a whole new set of customers.

“We are delighted with the partnership we have with Zeta Retail and we look forward to further expansion in Kazakhstan over the course of the next 12 months.

“Kazakhstan represents the first of at least three new market launches for The Entertainer in 2018, and we look forward to finding further partners to grow The Entertainer brand globally.”

The Entertainer currently has 145 UK stores and also operates 27 international stores through partnerships.

Now in its 37th year, the family-owned business employs more than 1,500 people across its shops, head office and distribution warehouses.
