The Cotswold Company to launch 10th UK store in Stamford

The Cotswold Company is to open its tenth UK store in Stamford this September.

Spanning 4,000 square feet, the shop will be the furniture and homeware brand’s first in the East Midlands and will stock its ranges for living and dining areas, bedrooms and kitchens.

Stamford will also feature the brand’s recently launched Upholstery Hub which showcases its range of upholstery colour swatches, styles, and fabrics. In the year to date, the Cotswold Company has seen strong demand for upholstered furniture with revenue in the category rising by 96%.

Ralph Tucker, chief executive of the Cotswold Company, said: “Launching into a new region, Stamford will offer us a unique opportunity to introduce the Cotswold Company to new customers, build brand advocacy and loyalty, and move more customers away from throwaway furniture in favour of high-quality, made-to-last furniture.

“Our plans to expand do not stop here. Over the next year, we will continue to look at new opportunities to launch retail stores, bolster our digital platform and digital marketing capabilities, and invest in products and brands.”

Earlier this year, the company expanded its premium delivery service to Northern Ireland as part of its expansion plans for the UK.
