The Co-operative Food launches temporary shop kiosk
The Co-operative Food has launched a new pop-up kiosk that will act as a temporary shop when a store is closed for refurbishment.
The kiosk, which measures 4 metres by 2.3 metres, will stock 120 of The Co-operative’s most popular products and will be placed near stores that are being refitted.
The Co-operative will refit and refurbish 340 stores this year as it looks to become the number one convenience retailer in the UK.
The retailer said past refurbishments have involved premises being closed for between two and 14 days. The new kiosks will ensure continuous service for customers and will move on to another location once the new-look store opens.
Never Miss a Retail Update! The first kiosk will appear on 13 August at Cropwell Bishop in Nottinghamshire where a Co-op Food store will be closed for a week for refurbishment.
