Fashion also came in with a result just short of 16 per cent with good performances across the board. The best result came from childrenswear – 35 per cent up on last year. Other highlights included men’s formalwear at plus 48 per cent, women’s shoes and, in particular, boots with an increase of 36 per cent. Another sign of autumn having arrived was outerwear’s 22 per cent increase.
