Tessa Group invests in Sofa Club
Sofa Club has announced that Polish sofa manufacturer Tessa Group has acquired a significant shareholding in its business.
As part of the investment, Tessa Group is currently building a 13,000 square metre state-of-the art manufacturing facility. This will play a pivotal role in supporting Sofa Club’s growth in the coming years.
Founded in 2012 by Louis Rose and Tom O’Neill, Sofa Club has worked with family-run Tessa Group for the last decade.
Rose said: “We’ve been buying from them since the beginning. They’ve supported us throughout the years and understand our vision. It’s a perfect fit, and I’m thrilled to welcome them aboard.”
Tessa Group operates two state-of- the-art factories and has a workforce of over 400 staff.
Józef Kaczmarek, founder of Tessa Group, said, “I’ve had the privilege of witnessing Sofa Club’s incredible journey from its humble beginnings to its current prominence in the industry. Being a part of that growth has been immensely rewarding. Now, as a shareholder in Sofa Club, I am even more delighted to contribute to this exciting brand’s future.”
O’Neill added: “This partnership is game-changing; we now have an unrivalled end-to-end solution. We can develop sofas quickly, maintain inventory on the shelves, and deliver them to customers with unprecedented speed and convenience.”
