Tesco to expand the range of fashion brands on its clothing website

Supermarket giant Tesco is to expand the range of fashion brands available on its clothing website clothing@tesco.com.

The retailer will introduce a number of new external brands which will sit alongside Tesco own brands F&F and Cherokee.

In addition, there will be a new Sports and Outdoor category to help Tesco benefit from an increased interest in sports and outdoor activities in the run-up to the London 2012. The retailer will expand its relationship with former Olympic athlete Dame Kelly Holmes involving her in a wider programme of marketing activity to support the new category.

The new brands to be launched on the site will include Ice Blossom, Divine Grace, Regatta, Shock Absorber, and Speedo. Tesco will also add nine new lingerie brands including Aristoc, Playtex, Gossard and Wonderbra.

A spokeswoman for Tesco said the new labels had been selected to give consumers “more choice, with different styles and price points, which means there is something to suit all tastes and budgets”.
