Tesco showcases Christmas food in biggest ever free tasting campaign

Tesco has announced plans to showcase the quality of its Christmas food by launching its biggest ever product tasting campaign.

The campaign, which will run until Christmas, will include a range of Christmas products being available for tasting at 600 of Tesco’s superstores and Extra stores across the UK.

In addition, 270 of the stores will host their own Christmas Food Festival where samples of products across Tesco’s Christmas range will be available through specially themed displays.

Key products offered for tasting will include Tesco’s party food range, Tesco Finest prosecco and elderberry crisps and Tesco FreeFrom profiteroles.

Jason Tarry, Tesco’s chief product officer, said: “We’re very proud of the quality of our Christmas food range this year so we wanted to help our customers to try some of the amazing new products we’ve developed. Buying something new can sometimes feel like a risk, especially if you’re entertaining guests, so we hope the tastings will help our customers to find exciting new products to enjoy.”
