Tesco launches digitally delivered Clubcard reward vouchers

Tesco has enhanced its Clubcard loyalty programme by launching digitally deliverd Clubcard reward vouchers.

The supermarket has selected Pizza Express as its first partner for the new service which will offer Tesco Clubcard customers the facility to exchange their points for digitally delivered rewards that can be instantly redeemed at participating restaurants.

Tesco said that the digital solution provided by Eagle Eye Solutions will offer its customers a more convenient way to access their rewards.

Ian Crook, online and digital marketing director at Tesco, explained: “In order to give our Clubcard customers a great experience, we need to ensure the rewards we are providing are of most value to them.

“We’re now able to offer our customers same day access to their reward. We can also better understand redemption, helping us to tailor our service to what it is customers really want.”

Steve Rothwell, CEO of Eagle Eye Solutions, added: “As consumers engage more in the digital world, the appetite for digital voucher delivery is set to sky rocket. Retailers now appreciate the need to securely redeem digital vouchers and coupons, whilst having a platform that can support the wide variety of digital distribution services, such as Tesco Clubcard.
