Temperley to open London flagship store
Designer label Temperley has announced that it is to open its first ever flagship store in London.
The company has selected a six-floor Georgian building in Mayfair’s Bruton Street to house all three Temperley collections which include Temperley London, ALICE by Temperley and Temperley Bridal. The building is also home to other designer labels including Matthew Williamson and Stella McCartney.
The 2,500 sq ft store will be spread across two levels and will include a ‘By Appointment’ private shopping salon. The store will also become the company’s headquarters housing the press and wholesale showrooms, and financial and e-commerce offices.
“It feels like the right time for our company to make this move and embark on the next phase of our business expansion – British fashion is at an important juncture and we are proud to have been part of the journey for the past 10 years,” said Alice Temperley. “Our flagship, in one of the strongest areas of London retail will allow us to showcase what we do with passion in outstandingly beautiful surrounding, and invite the customer directly into our World. We are very excited about this next stage – it feels like the beginning of a whole new chapter.”

Temperley is also planning to re-launch its e-commerce offering in October and will open a New York flagship store in 2013.
