Teleperformance UK announces partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust

Teleperformance, the global leader in outsourced multichannel customer experience management, today announced it is partnering with Teenage Cancer Trust for the next five years to raise funds for the charity and awareness of the valuable work it does helping teenagers and young adults with cancer across the UK.

Teleperformance centres in the UK will be raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust through a range of exciting fundraising activities and staff will also be encouraged to run marathons, climb mountains, jump out of planes, exert some pedal power, wade through mud and much more!

Siobhan Dunn, Chief Executive at Teenage Cancer Trust said: “Every day, seven young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. Despite leading the world in the quality of care and support we offer young people with cancer, we’re still only able to reach around half of these young patients. Partnerships like this with Teleperformance bring us a step closer to achieving our goal of reaching every young person with cancer in this country. We’re delighted to have been chosen by Teleperformance and we’re looking forward to working with them to raise money and help more young people with cancer.”

All money raised over the next five years will go towards Teenage Cancer Trust’s vital services, including the funding of expert nurses and youth support coordinators, as well as specialist hospital units for young people with cancer. Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK charity dedicated to providing the best possible care and support for young people aged 13-24 diagnosed with cancer.

Matt Sims, Chief Business Development Officer said: “It is impossible to imagine the impact it has on a young person, their family and friends, to be told they have cancer. The work Teenage Cancer Trust is doing offers crucial support to young people and we are delighted to announce today our partnership to help them achieve their goals. We are a people company with almost 10,000 staff in the UK, many of whom will have been touched in some way by critical illness. Our employees track record in charity fundraising is exemplary, and I have no doubt we will all be involved in one way or another in the many opportunities and challenges that will be organised to raise money and awareness for the Teenage Cancer Trust over the next five years.”
