Designer clothing brand Ted Baker outperformed the clothing market across the Christmas sales period, seeing strong demand for its fashion offer.
Retail sales grew by 23.7 per cent in the period from November 1 to December 24. The company said the Ted Baker range traded well across all collections, in the UK and overseas markets.
The retailer said stock levels are in line with expectations, and it will start the new season with a clean stock position.
Chief executive Ray Kelvin said: “We are pleased to report that Ted Baker’s strong first half retail performance has continued during the key Christmas period and we remain confident in a positive outcome for the full year.”
