Ted Baker hails strong performance across all channels
Ted Baker saw its revenues increase by 24.4% in the 13 weeks to 9 November as the fashion retailer hailed a strong performance across all of its channels.
Group revenue rose to £77.1 million while retail sales surged by 19.8% to £58.1 million.
During the period, Ted Baker’s average retail square footage rose by 11.4% to 300,766 square feet. The retailer also opened concessions in department stores in the US, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Germany as well as its first concessions in China.
Ted Baker said its online business had performed well and had benefited from the launch of a new UK e-commerce platform at the end of the period.

Commenting on trading, Ted Baker founder and chief executive Ray Kelvin said: “The Group has delivered a continued strong performance across all channels, reflecting the strength of the Ted Baker brand, our collections and, above all, the dedication of our team.
“The reaction to our Autumn/Winter collections across all our international markets has been very encouraging and we have further store openings planned for the coming months in Hong Kong and Gatwick South and three stores through our licence partners, two in the Middle East and one in Turkey.
“We are pleased with our continued strong performance to date however, as ever, the Group’s full year results will be dependent on trading over the key Christmas period.”
