Tapestry appoints Hanneke Faber to board of directors

Tapestry, the owner of Kate Spade, Coach and Stuart Weitzman, has appointed Hanneke Faber to its board of directors.

The appointment means that the board now has 11 members, including ten independent directors.

Possessing nearly 30 years’ experience in consumer goods and retail, Faber currently serves as president of global foods and refreshment at Unilever.

Prior to this, she was chief ecommerce and innovation officer at Royal Ahold Delhaize and also held a range of senior roles at Procter & Gamble.

Joanne Crevoiserat, chief executive of Tapestry, Inc., said: “We are delighted that Hanneke has agreed to join our board. She is a global executive with a proven track record of growth in consumer goods, retail and ecommerce.

“We are confident that her knowledge and perspective will prove valuable to us as we continue to execute our people-centered and purpose-led strategy while fuelling long-term growth and profitability across our portfolio of brands.”
