T2 chooses Milton Keynes for second South East store

Australian tea specialist T2 has launched a new store at the Centre:mk shopping centre in Milton Keynes.

Situated on Silbury Arcade, adjacent to Cath Kidston and L’Occitane, the new 1,063 square foot store sells over 200 different loose leaf and herbal tisane teas from around the world.

Designed by an in house team, the store will also offer a range of brewing essentials including teapots and tea sets.

The Milton Keynes store is the brand’s second in the South East. It also operates shops in London, Cheltenham and Bath.

Jane Hoban, T2 global marketing director said: “The UK market is very important for us as a brand emerging globally. We are hugely excited to bring our growing tea family to Milton Keynes and to be opening in Centre:mk alongside such a great high-end and international brand mix.”

The store is the latest opening on Silbury Arcade including an upsized Pandora shop and new stores from cosmetic brands Kiko and Kiehl’s.

Ed Sellick, asset manager at Hermes Investment Management, added: “We have a growing mix of lifestyle brands opening in Centre:mk. In addition to our latest openings, T2 is a great international brand to add to the line-up. The store offers a diverse retail experience providing unique and fragrant teas from all around the world, appealing to a wide range of our customers.”
