SuperGroup chief operating officer steps down

SuperGroup, the owner of the Superdry clothing brand, has announced that its chief operating officer Susanne Given has stepped down.

Given joined SuperGroup in April 2012 and was responsible for the UK retail division as well as the central support functions.

Speaking of her responsibilities, SuperGroup said in a statement: “Over the last few years, the management team has been substantially strengthened so that these responsibilities can now be absorbed by the executive team with the heads of UK retail, IT and logistics reporting directly to the chief executive officer, Euan Sutherland.”

SuperGroup chairman Peter Bamford added: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Susanne for her significant contribution to the growth and development of SuperGroup.

“Susanne played a crucial role in leading key investment programmes which have upgraded the infrastructure and processes of our business and were recently tested to the full over the peak Christmas trading period. We wish her every success in her future career.”
