SuperGroup CFO steps down
25 February, 2015 | by Retail Bulletin
SuperGroup, the owner of the Superdry fashion brand, has said its chief financial officer Shaun Wills has stepped down following a personal bankruptcy.
He will be replaced on an interim basis by former Dunelm chief executive Nick Wharton whose previous roles also include chief financial officer of Halfords.
In a statement SuperGroup said: “This decision was made upon the board becoming aware on 24 February 2015 that Shaun was made the subject of a personal bankruptcy order on 10 February 2015. This is a personal matter, on which SuperGroup will not comment further, and is wholly unrelated to the financial position of the company.”
The company added that trading remains in line with previous guidance.
