Superdrug cuts prices of common pain relief products
Superdrug has reduced the prices of common household pain relief products as it looks to make them more affordable for people who regularly suffer from pain.
The price cuts span both the retailer’s own brand and branded items, with Superdrug’s own brand Aspirin Tablets x 16 being reduced by 40% to £0.29,
Other examples include Bells Ibuprofen Tablets x 16 being reduced by 29% to £0.39 and Anadin Extra x 12 now costing £1.49 compared to a previous price of £1.89.
Jonathan Fairclough, head of trading retail health at Superdrug, said: “We are committed to supporting our customers in every way we can and healthcare is no different.
“With pain affecting such a large proportion of Brits across the UK, we wanted to reduce the prices of key pain relief products, to hopefully make things a little easier for those who rely on such products to keep pain at bay and go about their everyday lives.”
Superdrug has also recently removed 20% from the price of its own brand sun care range for the second year running and continues urge the Government to remove VAT on all suncare.
