Studio’s new chief executive takes up his role
Studio has appointed Paul Kendrick as its new chief executive as part of a succession plan.
He has succeeded Phil Maudsley who has now retired from Studio and stepped down as a director of the company. The move follows a successful transition during the first of half of the retailer’s financial year.
Kendrick joined Studio in May 2016 as commercial and deputy managing director of Studio Retail. A year later, he was promoted to the position of managing director and was appointed to the Studio Board in December 2019.
Prior to joining Studio, he was marketing and ecommerce director at Bonmarche and worked in various roles at N Brown Group, including leading the marketing, financial services, international and group development functions. Meanwhile, much of his earlier career was spent within the travel industry.
