Studio strengthens senior team with trading director appointment
Studio has strengthened its senior team with the appointment of Rupert Nichols as trading director.
In his new role with the online value retailer, Nichols will be responsible for driving new trading opportunities whilst continuing to develop its purchasing and supply chain strategy.
He was previously group buying director at Dixons Carphone and also worked with DSGi and Sainsburys.
Studio is currently implementing a range of digital transformation initiatives which last year included the launch of an award-winning mobile app.
Paul Kendrick, managing director of Studio.co.uk, said: “We have ambitious plans to grow and expand our business and with the current challenges across the sector, there’s a lot of work ahead. Rupert’s extensive trading knowledge and experience, particularly in online retail, is a welcome addition to an already strong leadership team, which I have no doubt will help us to achieve our goals.”
