Studio Retail’s chief executive steps down
Studio Retail’s chief executive Paul Kendrick has stepped down from his role.
According to documents filed at Companies House, Studio’s financial services director David Twigg was appointed to the position of the company’s managing director on 1 February. It is unclear whether Studio will be seeking to hire a new chief executive.
Kendrick was promoted to the position of chief executive when his predecessor Phil Maudsley retired in March 2021. At the time, Studio said the appointment was part of a succession plan implemented over a period of last two years. His previous roles included marketing and ecommerce director at Bonmarche and various positions at N Brown Group.
Studio Retail was acquired by Mike Ashley’s Frasers Group in February 2022 following Studio’s appointment of administrators.
