Studio becomes lead sponsor of ITV’s In For A Penny

Online value retailer Studio.co.uk has become lead sponsor of ITV’s on-the-street game show In for a Penny for the second year running.

The Saturday night show, which returned to screens on 9 April, surprises members of the public who then partake in a range of games to be in with the chance of winning anything from the price of their petrol to a sizeable cash prize.

With the show running until 4  June, Studio.co.uk is celebrating the partnership with a competition for one lucky entrant to win £1,000 to spend at Studio via its website. In addition, customers will have the opportunity to win 1p standard delivery via an online digital stopwatch game.

Chris Chalmers, brand and digital marketing director Studio.co.uk, said: “Last year’s partnership with ITV’s of In For A Penny was a great success for Studio.co.uk and we are thrilled to be the lead sponsor again for 2022. Being a family retailer with a passion for family-focussed value products, this sponsorship is a great opportunity to increase consumer engagement with our brand.”

Jason Spencer, development director at ITV, added: “Saturday night entertainment is a mainstay of family life, and In For A Penny brings the best elements of that together.  We are delighted to have Studio.co.uk on board for the second year running – they are synonymous with our purpose of serving the British public with a great offering for the whole family to enjoy!”

In 2022, Studio joined the Frasers Group; a collection of brands that includes Sports Direct, House of Fraser, Frasers, Flannels, Game Jack Wills, Sofa.com, Evans Cycles, USC, and Everlast.
