Following the overwhelming triumph of the inaugural event, The Loyalty Awards is back for a second year, promising to be even more successful and involve an even more organisations and individuals.
With six weeks to go before the entry deadline of Thursday 21 February 2013, there is still time to submit entries.
The Loyalty Awards recognise and reward excellence, innovation and best practice in the Loyalty industry, and celebrate the accomplishments of those companies and organisations excelling and achieving the extraordinary.
For the second year running, we are delighted to have the full support of our Prime Sponsor Aimia, as well as the commitment of many of our other longstanding sponsors including Diamond Sponsor TCC, and Category Sponsors Avios, BrandLoyalty, ICLP and Loyalty Consulting. We are also pleased to welcome on board new sponsor Visa.
Never Miss a Retail Update!New categories
Categories cover the full spectrum of the Loyalty business so there really is an opportunity for everyone to shine. Entries are invited from organisations and brands operating and interacting directly with the customer within Europe, the Middle East and now also Africa – another example of how The Loyalty Awards is widening its reach to become even more encompassing.
Focus on retail
Following the high number of entries received from retailers for The Loyalty Awards 2012, the Best Loyalty Programme of the Year – Retail category was split into two categories – Food and Non Food. This move reflects the key role the retail sector is playing in the Loyalty business and will give even more retailers the opportunity to showcase some of the fantastic loyalty initiatives coming specifically from this important sector.
This year we are also excited to announce that The Best Loyalty Programme of the Year will be split by region – Middle East and Africa, Central and Eastern Europe and the European Union and Turkey. It is hoped that the regional segregation of this prestigious award category, will give smaller organisations, doing great things with loyalty, the incentive to enter in the knowledge that they will be judged on a more level playing field.
In another new and exciting move, The Loyalty Awards is going ‘virtual’ and all entries will be submitted online. This decision will not only have a positive impact on the environment but will also benefit both the entry and judging process. The deadline for entries is Thursday 21 February 2013.
The highly acclaimed judging panel, chaired by marketing consultant Eric Austin, will bring together a spectrum of independent experts from the industry. These are people who specialise in a particular field, or who have a broad experience and insight of the Loyalty industry. They include representatives from service providers and business commentators, both from an industry and consumer perspective.
Gala dinner and awards ceremony
The best kept secrets of the Loyalty industry will be revealed at the impressive black-tie gala dinner and awards ceremony taking place on Tuesday 11 June 2013 at the lavish Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. Winners will be announced in front of an audience of over 800 key players in the Loyalty business from across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
As Loyalty continues to feature ever higher on organisations’ agenda, the competition for a coveted Loyalty Award will be even greater. So if you have done something exceptional and worth shouting about then make sure you are in the running to gain the applause and recognition of your industry peers and clients.
