Stationery newcomer opens first of several high street stores

New stationery retailer, Blott, has opened its first store in Tunbridge Wells and plans to open stores in Guildford and London within the next three months. There are also plans to launch a transactional website in May.

The retailer has retained Twentyretail to find a number of other suitable store sites around the UK.

Blott’s founder is Chris Manson, the co-founder and MD of Sit-up TV, the interactive shopping channel business that was sold to Virgin Media in 2005 for £194 million.

Manson says that design will be “at the heart of the brand” and that stores will feature own brand products that have been designed by and are exclusive to Blott.
