Staples names Frank Bifulco as executive vice president for marketing

Office products retailer Staples has appointed Frank Bifulco as its executive vice president for marketing.

Due to join the retailer on 23 June, Bifulco will head up the marketing function across Staples in what is a newly created role.

Having previously worked as chief marketing officer at Home Depot, Bifulco has also held marketing leadership positions at Coca-Cola, Timberland and Hasbro.

In his new role, Bifulco will report to chairman and chief executive Ron Sargent and will be a member of the company’s executive committee.

Sargent said: “Frank is a passionate leader who brings an immense wealth of marketing, analytic and sales experience at some of the world’s most-respected companies to Staples. He will help us build on the success of our Make More Happen brand launch as we continue to let customers know that Staples has every product their business needs to succeed.”
