Specsavers takes new store at Derby’s M Park Farm

Specsavers has become the latest tenant at Derby’s M Park Farm Shopping Centre.

The optician has taken a ten-year lease for 2,526 square feet of retail space at the Allestree destination.

Ishvinder Bancil, optometrist director at Specsavers Allestree, said: “We’re delighted to be launching a new store and welcoming customers through the doors.

“There’s been a lot of hard work going on behind the scenes to get the store ready and we’re looking forward to helping the local community with their vision and hearing needs”

M Park Farm Shopping Centre has over 50 stores ranging from small independent retailers and salons to national retailers and food outlets. Major retail brands with a presence at the scheme include the likes of Boots, Co-op Food, Farmfoods and Wilko.

Simon Eatough, director and asset manager at LCP, part of M Core, said: “The signing of Specsavers, further reflects our commitment to securing a mix of established brands and exciting new retailers to meet the needs of the local community.”
