Specsavers, Benefit Cosmetics and more revealed as the UK’s Best Workplaces 2025

Great Place To Work has announced that 17 retail companies feature in its highly anticipated UK’s Best Workplaces list for 2025.

This year’s ranking features 350 companies across four size categories following confidential survey responses from over 285,000 UK employees.

Retailers recognised in the organisation’s 25th anniversary edition include the likes of SpecsaversSavers Health & BeautyBenefit Cosmetics, ProCook, and Just Shutters.

Working with over 20,000 companies globally, Great Place To Work analysed employee responses to over 60 survey questions in in which they were asked to described the extent to which their organisation creates a ‘great place to work’ for all.

Great Place to Work found that 76% of employees from retail companies on the list agreed that they were “paid fairly for the work they do” compared to the UK average of 57% for retail, hospitality and leisure.

Meanwhile, 89% of retail employees agreed that their organisation was a “great place to work” compared to the UK average of 57% for the sector.

Benedict Gautrey, managing director of Great Place To Work UK, said: “As we celebrate this silver anniversary milestone, the UK’s Best Workplaces List continues to set the gold standard for employee-centric cultures that drive both individual and organisational success.

Other retailers on the list include Norton Way, Tapestry, Absolute Collagen, Alumier, Findel, Look Good Do Good, Laithwaites, Sandea, Dock & Bay, The Workplace Depot, Shake Shack, and TePe.
