Space NK sells its US wholesale division
Space NK’s US wholesale division has been acquired by The PCA Companies.
According to a report by Cosmetics Business, the sale includes the beauty retailer’s entire wholesale business including systems, concepts and employees.
Space NK has 600 distribution points across the US in stores such as Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack and Hudson Bay. It also has 265 in-store Beauty Space NK installations in Walmart supermarkets.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
Andy Lightfoot, chief executive of Space NK, said: “Three years ago we pivoted to focus solely on high service wholesale in the US, with a vision of providing brands with the ideal structure and support to thrive in the American retail landscape.
“Now backed by PCA’s scale and robust systems, we have total confidence this partnership will benefit all our retail and brand partners.”
PCA is a vertically integrated omnichannel global distribution company for the worldwide beauty and wellness sector. It has been led by its founding family for over 30 years.
