Sophie Turner Laing to step down from Debenhams board

Debenhams has announced that Sophie Turner Laing will be stepping down from its board when her three year term of office expires on 31 July.
The department store said Turner Laing will have completed two three year terms as a non-executive director.
Turner Laing is chief executive of Endemol Shine Group and her previous roles include managing director of content for BSkyB.
Nigel Northridge, chairman of Debenhams, said: “Sophie’s input during her six years’ service on the board of Debenhams has been extremely valuable. We are very grateful to have had the benefit of her insight and support and wish her well in her future endeavours.”
