Sofology managing director to step down as DFS simplifies management structure
DFS has announced that Sofology managing director Emma Dinnis is to step down at the end of December as part of the furniture retailer’s plan to create a more simplified structure.
Dinnis joined DFS in 2022 after a career working with M&Co, Topshop/Topman, Ikea and Marks & Spencer.
In addition, DFS chief executive Nick Smith will move to the newly created role of group chief customer and commercial officer which will include leading Sofology.
In his new position, he will be supported by Arron Burton, who is taking on the role of group commercial officer, and James Brewer and Graham Mould, who are becoming group marketing director and group customer operations director respectively.
DFS said that Adam Smith, Sofology’s director of customer operations, and Jan Duckworth, brand director, will also step down.
