Sofaworks and Oak Furniture Land to open at Fosse Park
Furniture retailers Sofaworks and Oak Furniture Land are to open stores at Leicester’s Fosse Shopping Park in time for the Boxing Day sales.
Sofaworks will open today at The Crown Estate owned development while Oak Furniture Land will open its doors on Boxing Day.
Hannah Milne, portfolio manager of The Crown Estate’s regional portfolio, said: “It’s a real pleasure to welcome two of Britain’s leading retailers to Fosse Shopping Park and we’re naturally delighted that we can announce today that they will both be open in time for the Boxing Day sales. We have some exciting development plans for the continued development of Fosse Shopping Park and we look forward to welcoming new retailers in 2015.”
The news follows an announcement earlier this year that The Crown Estate will invest in improving parking and congestion issues at Fosse Park and will also enhance the appearance of the units.
Purchased by The Crown Estate for £345.5 million as part of a joint venture, Fosse Park is home to 40 stores and attracts eight million visitors a year.
