Sofa Club announces new additions to leadership team

Sofa Club has appointed Sally Mason as finance director and Chantal Amado as merchandising director as it continues to grow its market presence.

Mason has joined the business after six years at Tesco where she led the finance business support function, which included driving efficiencies through the supermarket’s Save to Invest programme. Prior to that, she worked in senior finance roles at easyJet, Primark and John Lewis.

Meanwhile, Amado has extensive experience of working with sofa retailers after being head of trading and merchandising at Snug and merchandise director at Loaf. Earlier in her career, she held merchandising roles at Monsoon Accessorize.

Louis Rose, chief executive of Sofa Club, said: “We are delighted to welcome both Sally and Chantal to the Sofa Club leadership team. Sally’s expertise in managing complex financial operations and driving efficiency, combined with Chantal’s keen understanding of customer needs and her talent for curating collections, makes them the perfect additions as we continue to grow and expand.”
