German accessories retailer launches UK push at Bluewater

German store chain Six plans 50 UK stores as part of its European expansion programme, reports Retail Week magazine.
Six, which sells accessories targeted at 14 to 25 year old females, opens its first UK store at Bluewater, Kent in November.
Olaf Hornig, head of retail and International business development at Beeline, which owns Six, told Retail Week: “We are vey confident it will be successful, and if this is the case we will open another eight to 10 next year.”
The UK could eventually have 50 Six outlets as part of an expansion across Europe that has also seen stores open in Holland, Austria, and Majorca, the France and Switzerland due next year.
Six has 1,000 outlets in Germany, with a small number of standalone stores supported by concessions in department stores.
