Simon Harrow heads to Haatch to lead new start-up
Former Morrisons multi-channel executive and Kiddicare head of digital development Simon Harrow is to lead a start-up funded by digital incubator Haatch.
Following the recent announcement of his departure from the supermarket, Harrow has joined former Kiddicare colleagues Scott Weavers-Wright and Fred Soneya who founded Haatch with Weavers-Wright’s wife Elaine in 2013.
In a statement Haatch said Harrow will head up a new start-up and also help the Haatch team to seek out “talented digital entrepreneurs” who are looking for support and capital investment.
Prior to Kiddicare’s acquisition by Morrisons in 2011, Harrow was chief operating officer at the online brand and has also worked with MoneySupermarket.com, Hilton, and William Hill.
Never Miss a Retail Update!Harrow said: “It’s a pleasure to be back working with the team that made Kiddicare such a success and I’m looking forward to the new challenge that Haatch offers me in addition to announcing a new start-up in the coming months.”
Weavers-Wright added: “We’re delighted to have Simon on board. I know how well the rest of the team and Simon work together from our days at Kiddicare so it’s an exciting time for Haatch and Simon’s a great asset to have as we plot our future success.”
