Simon Harrow appointed as chief operating officer at Kiddicare

Online nursery retailer Kiddicare.com has appointed Simon Harrow as its chief operating officer.

Harrow first joined Kiddicare in 2004 then re-joined the business last year as technology officer after spending two years in the advertising industry. Since then Harrow has managed Kiddicare’s mobile offering and was responsible for introducing the company’s new ECRM system, a behavioural targeted email solution designed to promote relevant products to Kiddicare customers.

Kiddicare said that Harrow’s new role would help the  business deliver its objectives following its takeover by Morrisons earlier this year. Harrow will report directly to Kiddicare’s CEO, Scott Weavers-Wright, and will be responsible for leading the execution of the company’s short term strategic plan. He will also work closely with Weavers-Wright to help to shape the long term vision of the business with Morrisons.

Commenting on the appointment Weavers-Wright said: “We believe Simon will be a fundamental part of the future Kiddicare and Morrisions story and this new role is designed to recognise this.  I am sure he will thrive in his new role.”
