Shop Direct promotes Gareth Jones to the role of deputy chief executive
Shop Direct, the owner of Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, has promoted Gareth Jones to the position of deputy chief executive.
Following the appointment, Jones will continue in his existing role of group retail and strategy director, where he is responsible for ecommerce, customer intelligence, marketing, trading and creative across the group’s six digital department store brands.
He will also continue to oversee the development of Very Exclusive, Shop Direct’s new luxury etail brand.
Shop Direct group chief executive Alex Baldock said: “This appointment is recognition for everything Gareth has put in at Shop Direct.
