Selfridges launches click & collect service

Selfridges is introducing its first click and collect service next week in all four of its department stores and has announced plans to open a drive-thru click and collect service at its flagship Oxford Street store next year.

Already operating at the Oxford Street store this week, the click and collect service will be extended to other stores from 9 May. Customers will be able to shop online every day until 4pm and collect their purchases the following day from an in-store dedicated collection point as soon as the stores open.

In addition, customers will  be able to choose which day, within seven day of ordering, they would like to collect their purchases on while the Oxford Street store will also offer shoppers 30 minutes free parking while they collect their goods.

Plans for the drive-thru click and collect service will involve the conversion of forecourt space at the Oxford Street store to enable customers to collect goods bought online without having to leave their cars.

Never Miss a Retail Update!

Selfridges is also launching an international delivery service for online orders later this year as it develops its multi-channel offer.
