Selfridges extends commitment to DigiPos Store Solutions
Selfridges has extended its commitment to technology player, DigiPoS Store Solutions by implementing the DigiPoS hardware across its Selfridges store in Manchester Exchange Square, and its Brown Thomas store in Dublin.
At its Manchester Exchange Square store, the retailer has implemented the DigiPoS Quantum Blade tills, the newest addition to the solution provider’s Retail Blade PoS systems. Utilising the latest Intel Atom processor technology, DigoPos say the tills offer at least a 60% reduction in power consumption, when compared to other PoS systems or desktop PCs.
In the Brown Thomas department store in Dublin teams will be using the new all-in-one Tocarre screens from DigiPoS. The system comes with a bezel free display screen, utilises multi-touch technology and has outstanding image transmission.
Ian Patterson, group CEO at DigiPoS Store Solutions, said: “We are proud to be working with such a prestigious retailer. DigiPoS has now supplied over 1,000 units to Selfridges, and we believe this shows a real commitment both to the levels of service we endeavour to provide clients, but also – in turn – the service that they offer their customers.”
