Seiko to open London flagship
Watchmaker Seiko is planning to open a flagship boutique in London.
The brand has enlisted the help of property consultancy Knight Frank as it looks to acquire a Central London store measuring between 50 and 100 square metres. The new store will showcase Seiko’s premier collection, Grand Seiko.
David Harnby, director of sales & marketing at Seiko UK, said: “We are delighted to be working with Knight Frank in what is a watershed moment for Seiko. The search for a flagship Central London boutique will allow the brand to build on the most recent openings in Sydney and Frankfurt.
“With the Athletics World Championships scheduled for London next summer and with Seiko the official time keeper for the event, there has never been a better opportunity to build on the momentum and excitement around the brand and specifically our Grand Seiko collection.”
