Secret Sales Q4 revenue rises by 43%

Secret Sales, the designer fashion flash sale site, has seen its fourth quarter revenue climb by 43% year-on-year.

The increase means that in the year to 31 December, revenue increased by 40% to £25.4 million while gross receipts grew by 37% to £37.6 million.

During the year, Secret Sales widened its range of brands to include the likes of Vivienne Westwood, Converse, Theo Fennel, Beats by Dr Dre and Stella McCartney lingerie. It also launched delivery to the EU.

Nish Kukadia, chief executive of Secret Sales, said: “We have had a great finish to the financial year with strong sales growth and a move into profitability in the fourth quarter. Our success in what remains a challenging retail environment is testament to our innovative business model, which is structured to offer great deals for our customers and a discreet, complimentary and highly effective distribution channel for leading brands.”
