Schuh and Love Koffee to join The Broadway

Footwear retailer Schuh is to open its first store in Bradford at the new The Broadway shopping centre.

Due to open on 5 November, The Broadway’s other fashion signings include Debenhams, M&S, H&M, Next, Topshop, Topman, New Look and River Island.

The Schuh store, which will be situated on Eastbrook Mall, will stock the brand’s full range and include a kid’s zone.

Phil Whittle, Schuh’s head of store operations, said: “The Broadway is the perfect location to open our first Bradford store, combining a fantastic city centre location with cutting edge design.”

Meanwhile, coffee shop Love Koffee is also taking space at the Westfield operated centre.

Vikesh Patel from Love Koffee said: “We’ve long recognised that Bradford is one of the north’s untapped opportunities for growth, with a young and quickly growing population, and we’re delighted that we’re able to tap into that potential through the development of The Broadway.”

Love Koffee’s two level store will sit on Charles Street.

Keith Mabbett, director of leasing at Westfield, added: “In recent months we’ve seen The Broadway gain great momentum, with schuh and Love Koffee, both names new to Bradford, further testament to that momentum. They join other fantastic names who are new to the city and have signed up in recent months, such as H&M, Patisserie Valerie, Taco Bell and The Entertainer.

“The Broadway is now well over 70% let, and I’m happy to confirm that we’ll be announcing further exciting names in the near future.”
