Sainsbury’s relaunches its Trainee Manager Scheme
Sainsbury’s has re-launched it Trainee Manager scheme by opening up 50 fast track training programme places for aspiring store managers.
The supermarket chain says successful applicants will enjoy a fast-track year-long training programme with an emphasis on learning on the job.
Trainees will experience working in nearly very area of a Sainsbury’s store before beginning a 12 week stint managing their own department.
Throughout this process the trainees are mentored by a Sainsbury’s Store Manager until they are ready to become a Department Manager.

Trainees will be exposed to every aspect of running a successful Sainsbury’s store and will quickly be managing their own team, making decisions that will make a real difference to thousands of customers each week.”

Sainsbury’s says the Trainee Manager scheme is open to anyone with two A-levels who has a passion for retail and customer service. Successful applicants will enjoy a starting salary of £17,500 22 days holiday, a colleague discount card and eligibility for the Sainsbury’s bonus scheme.
