Ryman opens first Scottish Ryman Design store

High street stationery retailer Ryman has opened its first Scottish Ryman Design store in Edinburgh’s St James Quarter.

The stores are a design specialist offshoot of Ryman and sell a range of trend-led stationery, gifts and cards from brands such as Ban.do, Kate Spade, POSCA, Legami, Violet Studios/Crafters Companion and Midori.

The move follows the launch of the first shop under the concept in London’s Bishopsgate in June 2023 and openings in Marble Arch and Birmingham Grand Central later in the year.

Theo Paphitis, owner and chairman at Ryman, said: “I’m delighted to be opening our first-ever Scottish Ryman Design store in Edinburgh and building on the brand’s presence in key locations around the UK.

“This will be our fourth Ryman Design store, and because of the fantastic response they’ve had from our customers, there are more in the pipeline.”
